Cetaphil SAVED my Skin!!!

Acne, its such a hard topic to talk about especially if your someone who is currently fighting a battle with no end in sight!

As a teenager I never went through acne I rarely had breakouts and my skin was always happy and fresh! After turning 21 I noticed that my skin went through a whole month of being super irritated and dry which is something I had never ever experienced since I've got Oily skin.

After my skin went through this month long irritated flaky mess I decided to switch up my moisturizer thinking that that would help and drinking water wasn't my strongest habit. So i upped the liters and upped the skincare and slowly but surely I developed deep cystic acne.

Cystic acne isn't your average pimple... Its much deeper in the skin and most of the time never develops a white head so you cant even dry it out! (My favorite thing to dry out my pimples is the Mario Badescu - Drying Lotion) The area just to the side of my nose literally all of the pores filled themselves with blackheads and no matter what I did I would extract them my pores would just get congested and fill themselves up again.

After developing cystic acne my self esteem plummeted and I started to feel depressed... After trying it all from high end skincare to drug store skincare nothing worked and sometimes some products made it even worse. My skin was angry, sore and painful and after a whole year I was at an all time low. My skin had gotten so bad that I didn't want to leave my house. I struggled to cover up my scars and acne with makeup.

Finally after doing some intense searching on the internet (thank you google!) I found a product that finally worked for me... The Cetaphil - Derma Control Foaming Face Wash for Oily/Acne Prone Skin. After using this for 4 months straight my skin has seriously cleared up and I only ever really get a pimple or 2 every now and then which after the year I had is pretty awesome!
