Chantecaille - Mermaid Eye Colour!

Hi everyone!

I've always heard so many great things about the brand Chantecaille especially surrounding their skincare products but was never able to purchase any of their products because the closest store was an hour away and I dont have a car :(.

But now a new store has opened up close to home and I'm able to purchase to my hearts content!

Chantecaille is a luxury brand best known for their high concentration of natural botanicals in their products backed by extensive research and innovation into each of their groundbreaking formulas!

Chantecaille focuses their brand towards inflammation, which has been scientifically proven as one of the main causes of aging. Its plant based formulas reduce the effect of inflammation on the different layers of the skin.

Their makeup line is known for its natural look combined with skin friendly ingredients and natural anti oxidants to protect the skin against free radicals. Their foundation 'Future Skin' particularly known for its light weight, oil free, gel formula that leaves an almost translucent effect to the skin with buildable coverage! It also has light reflecting pigments which blur the appearance of imperfections for a natural flawless finish for the perfect selfie!

The brand is only available at Mecca Cosmetica stores here in Australia (I believe...).

But today we are going to be looking at their newest product the 'Mermaid Eye Colour'! Its a really beautiful and creamy eyeshadow with amazing pigment that just glides into place!

The shade I bought is called Starfish which is a plumby/ brown shimmer perfect for creating a smokey eye!

The other shades are:

Triton - A warm silvery gray.

Seashell - Soft Gold.

Lagoon - Teal.

I love using this eyeshadow with the Too Faced Glitter glue to get added longwear but to also enhance the beautiful shade and shimmer of this beautiful eyeshadow!

Here is a quick selfie (in terrible lighting) of the eyeshadow look I created with the Starfish shade on my lids and my other current obsession (featured in my last post) the Nars - Lip cover. These 2 are a match made in heavennnn!
