So how does it work?

As you might not know hydrated skin actually absorbs skincare a lot better than dry, dehydrated skin. By spritzing the Maskimizer onto your skin after cleansing, you give your skin a boost of hydration which will draw the mask deep into your pores really maximizing the effect the mask will have on your skin for a deeper cleanse! So basically you get more dirt and impurities out of your skin... So less breakouts!!! HOORAY!

My favorite Mask is a tie between the Origins - Clear Improvements Mask and the Origins - Original Skin Mask.

I also love using the Origins - Out of Trouble 10 minute mask to help reduce the redness and swelling on my breakouts when I happen to wake up with an unexpected pimple or 5!

I've also recently tried out the Origins - Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask and I love it! I have very oily / acne prone skin but this winter my skin dried up and began to feel super tight and my usual moisturizer just wasn't cutting it. I hadn't changed my daily water intake in fact I was drinking more and more water to try and re-hydrate my skin not only on my face but my body as well! But using body butters on your body is easy but not exactly a great idea for your face...

So since I love the origins brand so much I decided to try out the only other mask that Mecca Maxima stocked (there are more masks available on origins.com) the Drink Up Mask. I popped this beautiful mask on my face after cleansing with my normal cleanser (Cetaphil Derma Control Foaming Cleanser) and left it on for 3 hours before bed!

I didn't want to overload my skin and leave it on all night since my acne skin reacts to so many things but in the 3 hours that I had this mask on my skins tightness was just melting away and the scent left me feeling so relaxed who knew apricots were so delicious I almost wanted to eat the mask! After taking this mask off my skin felt so soft and so moisturized I now cant live without having this mask in my Origins Collection!
